You start off on a ledge facing St Paul's Cathedral in the rain. Turn to face the opposite end of the ledge. There is a walkway on the right. Use the walkway to take a running jump over the low sloping roof that runs along the edge of the ledge.

You will land in a narrow passageway on the other side. Turn left and run down and around to the right. There is an energy/save gem on a ledge in the far corner. On the floor in the right corner are some shells.

Come back towards the narrow passageway and climb up onto the block in the right hand corner. There is a ledge here that you can climb up on. From here you can jump across to the yellow crane.

Run down to the other end of the crane and drop down to the concrete balance block suspended under the crane. From here jump across to a ledge on the same level on the building you have just come from.

On the left is a brownish green grate to climb down. From the left side of the ledge at the bottom you can drop onto another concrete ledge. Facing across the sloped roof stand in the front left-hand corner of this ledge.

Turn so that Lara is looking at the third window from the left on the building opposite. Do a standing jump and you will fall into the gap in the middle of the roof, safe from the barbed wire.

Walk safely through the barbed wire using the walk key. Draw your pistols and shoot the two rats in the corridor ahead. Follow the corridor around to your right to find a small medi pack and a rocket Secret 1.

Go back out towards the barbed wire and turn left. Walk to the end and then using the walk key walk through the wire to the edge of the lower concrete ledge. Use the action key and the forward key to get Lara to grab the ledge and pull up.

Climb back up the grating to the ledge you jumped to from the crane. Jump across to the suspended concrete block. Jump and grab to pull back up onto the arm of the crane. Turn back to look at the building.

There is a sloping ledge in front of you. There is a ledge to the right, which you can reach with a diagonal running jump. Run along to the other end of this ledge and jump up to the next ledge.

You can now jump up and grab a ledge on your left, which is a sloping roof back to the area with the energy/save gem. Slide down and climb back on the block in the corner to your right.

Pull yourself up onto the sloping ledge but this time turn to the left. Lara is now facing the back of the low roof that runs along the ledge from the start of the game. Make a standing jump and grab at an angle to hold onto the ridge of the low roof.

If you forget to grab you will jump over the roof and slide to your doom. Shimmy across to the left until you can pull yourself up and slide back down to the ledge you started the level from.

Pull yourself up and slide down. Drop off the right side of this ledge onto a grate below. The next part seems complicated but is easy. Safety-hang off the back end of the grating. Momentarily let go of the action key so that Lara starts to drop and then immediately press both the action and jump keys together.

Lara will drop onto a sloping roof and immediately jump and grab the ledge in front of her. Pull yourself up slide down the slope, and draw your pistols. There is a crow circling around on the right, which you need to kill.

After you have killed the crow pull the switch on the wall. This will raise a platform on the building you're heading towards. Jump up and grab the grating on the roof. Monkey swing across to the platform with the rope slide.

Draw the Desert Eagle and holster it again so that it's ready when you are attacked on the other side. Slide across the rope slide onto the roof. As you slide down grab the edge of the roof.

Release and grab the ledge below. Shimmy to the right and pull yourself up. Draw the Desert Eagle and shoot the guard who attacks you, then pick up the small medi pack he drops. Go in and around to the left.

I found a diving roll (walk + jump + forward arrow) the best way to jump to the next ledge. The far end of this ledge is composed of breakaway tiles. If you are patient you can pick off the two rats on the distant ledge from here.

To jump across to the far ledge angle your jump for the most ceiling space. If you grab (action key) you will also keep your trajectory lower. If you have to, kill the rats now. Follow the corridor around and kill the armed guard at the end. Collect the Flue key that he drops.

Run back out to the ledge with the rats on. Safety-drop down from the left side onto a metal grill ledge. At the end is a switch, which drops a flap allowing you to climb back to the guard that you killed.

Safety-drop of the end of this grating onto the metal ledge below. Crawl in and retrieve the harpoons before another safety-drop to the ground. Climb onto the block in the corner to get the energy/save gem. Look in the broken tiles for a small medi pack and, some well-camouflaged flares in another corner.

Push the switch by the ladder. Climb up the ladder back to the ledge with the rats. Drop back to metal grill and pull yourself up. Do a running jump across to the sloping block along the wall.

Go to the end and walk up to the highest part of the slope. You will now be able to jump back to the ledge with the first dead guard. Go back through the doorway and to your left. Pull the lever there to drop the green platform on this ledge.

Go back to the end and safety-drop from where the green platform had been.

There is a hole in the wall that you can jump up to, on the right of the ledge you are now on. As soon as you grab the ledge you will hear another crow. Drop back down to the ledge and kill it with your pistols.

Jump back up to the ledge and shimmy across to the right. There is a hidden ledge that allows Lara to reach the two holes to the right. The second hole is Secret 2, but both contain shotgun shells.

Go back to the ledge and then jump up to the hole on the left of the ledge. Climb up and crawl in. Follow the tunnel around to the left and then up the slope on the right. Stand up on the ledge and jump across to the platform with the switch on it.

The switch releases the cover on another switch in another area. Go back to the tunnel and crawl straight through to the other hole without turning off. Hang out of the hole and shimmy to the right side before dropping onto the sloping ledge. If you drop from the left side you will lose a little energy.

You will drop onto a crate below. Turn around and draw the MP5. There is an armed guard across the courtyard but he will not shoot at this point. Lara has time to take aim and fire before he returns fire.

Run across to the boxes in the opposite corner. There is a space behind where you will find an energy/save gem and some flares. Climb back out and run back across the courtyard to the boxes stacked up on the left.

Between the wall and the first box are some Uzi clips. Pick these up and climb up onto the boxes. From the top of these boxes, jump onto a ledge with a ladder. Climb up the ladder and drop of on the right. Climb up the next ladder and then the next.

At the top jump across to the ledge you started the level from. Drop off onto the blue grating at the end. Hang and drop from this ledge as before and then jump and grab the ledge opposite.

From the platform with the switch jump across the courtyard to the roof with the small medi pack. Jump and grab the ledge in the wall above this section of roof. Shimmy across to the right until she can pull herself up.

Climb up beside the sloping white roof. Jump up to the ledge directly in front of you. Run around to the right until you reach the edge of the flue with the flame burner at the bottom. Jump and grab the ledge across the gap. Pull yourself up and collect the shotgun shells you find on the roof.

Keeping close to the wall, walk to the left. You will slide and drop into a secret area with a rocket Secret 3. Climb back up the ladder to the roof. Jump up to the edge of the roof. Now jump across the still burning flue.

Retrace your steps back around to the left. Drop off the ledge and take the tunnel to the left. Take this path until it ends on a ledge. Jump across to the other side of the courtyard. Walk up to the low roof in front of you and draw your pistols. Side-flip to the left and the next crow will appear.

Kill the crow and then climb up onto the ledge. In a gap behind you will find a large medi pack plus a switch. The switch raises the painter's platform in the courtyard. Go back the way you came to the jump over the courtyard. Jump back up to the ledge.

Look into the courtyard, and you can see the painter's platform is within jumping distance. Jump across and draw your pistols. Walk to the front of the platform where there aren't any safety rails. You will hear the next crow.

Kill the crow and jump across to the flue room entrance in the opposite wall. Pick up the flares and open the door with the Flue Room Key. Run through to the end to the energy/save gem.

From here you can choose to take a shortcut. If you press the switch here you will put out the flame at the bottom of the flue. With the shortcut you don't need to do this and you cut out another circuit around the courtyard and up the various ladders.

Also if you press the switch flames start shooting across the flue room. Come back out of the room and jump back across to the platform. This is where it gets interesting. Go to the right end of the platform without the paint tin.

Line up with your right arm touching the right rope. You are hoping to land on a small ledge in the right hand corner of the courtyard. Take a hop back then do a running jump. You need to jump straight (to avoid the ledge on the right), and then press the right key to swing you right at the last moment.

This jump takes a lot of energy so if you need to make sure you have plenty before making the jump. Jump across the gap and into the next corridor. The jump is a little difficult because it's so close. I found it easier to take a hop backward before jumping across.

Slide forward down the slope. There is an energy/save gem on the corner here. Walk down the next slope and pick up the large medi pack. Before you slide on down, draw your pistols and be ready to kill the two rats that appear at the bottom. Kill them both and then walk up to the edge of the hole in the floor.

There is a guard in the room below, who can be a little evasive by trying to hide from you. I found it best to drop backwards into the room with pistols drawn. As soon as Lara has a lock, open fire. (I actually got a little sidetracked flushing him out with the grenade launcher. But then the games supposed to be fun isn't it?)

The room you have dropped into is the water control room. There are two covered switches and a third switch. Before you pull the third switch explore the long corridor opposite. There are two corridors feeding off from the right. The first leads to a half-full water tank and the second leads to an empty water tank.

In the empty one you can see a passageway leading off to the left. Go back to the switch. Pulling it will fill both tanks. Run down to tank two. Dive in and retrieve the small medi pack and the Uzi clips from the bottom. Then pull the switch on the grey panel at the back of the tank.

The lever opens a trapdoor in the bottom of tank one. The passageway on the left of tank two is now reachable. This corridor leads to tank 3, which is empty at this point. Go back to the third switch in the control room. Pull it up and empty the tanks.

Go to tank one, which is now half-empty. Dive down to the trapdoor and swim in past the fans. The fans slow right down as you swim towards them. If the tank was still full they would keep spinning fast and kill Lara.

Swim to the surface and climb out on the left. There may be a guard here as well as two rats. Kill anything that moves and then pick up the shotgun shells at the end. Now crawl into the tunnel and pick up the small medi pack.

Safety-drop off of the end and you are at the entrance to another room. There is a bright yellow robot spinning three live electric cables in front of it. It is easy to avoid because all it does is circle around the edge of the room to start with.

In one corner of the room is an energy/save gem and a switch. The switch appears to just turn the room's lighting on. At the opposite end is a metal mesh block. The aim is to get the robot into the middle path and to shortcircuit the electrical panel there.

Remember that once Lara starts the sequence of pulling or pushing she won't stop until she has finished. If you are touching the mesh when the live cables touch it Lara will be electrocuted.

Start by pulling the block out one space. If you have time, climb over the block into the space behind. When the robot has passed push it out one space. The robot is now blocked and will change it's route.

Watch the robot's new route and then push the block one space into the corner. Stand in the corner, behind the block, for safety. Now push the block in stages until the robot cannot go straight through the middle pathway. It will now turn and go into the middle from the other side and fuse the electrical panel.

This will allow you to climb up the ladder back into the centre of the water control room. It also lifts the shield on one of the first two buttons. Go back through the doorway you entered the room by and climb the ladder to the top.

Press the uncovered switch which floods tank 3.Turn around with your pistols drawn. Another guard appears from the long corridor, so kill him and press the third switch to flood tank 2 again.

Run down to tank 2 and swim across to the corridor leading to tank 3. Dive into tank 3 and swim across to the left and climb out. There is a Guard in the corridor. Kill the guard and press the switch you will find in the room. This will raise the cover over last switch.

This will also drain the water in tank 3. As you come out of the corridor into the main tank area turn left. Go halfway along the platform and you will find a grating in the ceiling. Jump up and monkey swing across the room.

When you reach the other side and drop into another corridor, draw your pistols and kill the two rats that attack from the right. Look back to the left and there is a small medi pack in an area you can crawl into.

Follow the path down and collect the energy/save gem. Turn the corner to the right and you will find a large medi pack. Drop into the water at the end, which is tank 2. Swim back to the main exit into the long corridor. Draw your weapons as soon as you pull up, as there is another armed guard waiting.

Kill the guard and run into the water control room. Push the last switch and this will flood and open a door at the bottom of tank 3. Go back to tank 3 and swim into the hole. You will find some harpoons in the corner. Pick these up and then follow the tunnel.

You will surface in a flooded church. In two of the corners underwater you will find a medi pack. On the surface is a doorway in the corner through which you can see grating. Climb up and kill the guard waiting for you. Collect the energy/save gem in an alcove on the right.

Jump and grab the grating at the end climb to the top and pull yourself up on a barbed wire ledge. Using the walk key to protect yourself, walk to the edge and jump across to the grate platform on the side of the crane.

Run and jump to grab the barbed wire ledge on the right. Pull up and again using the walk key, go to the right where you can jump up to a flat spot. Run across the roof and pull yourself up on the ledge around the bell tower.

Draw the MP5 and run around to the left. You will find two snipers. Kill them both then head into the bell tower. In the centre is a column with a moveable block at the bottom. You can only move the block in one direction. Move it twice and then climb up on the right side as you face the centre.

On the right of the roof is a space behind, where you will find a large medi pack. To find the next secret area you will need to jump into the same space behind the roof opposite. This is very tricky and only works if you are lined up correctly.

Walk to the bottom left edge of the roof. Turn left to face outside. Walk one step back. Turn right to face across to the other roof. Line Lara up so here head is in line with the left most pillar. Take a hop back. Now run forward and as soon as Lara starts to move add the Jump (Alt) key. She should hop over the top edge of the roof.

If you miss let her slide and use the action key to hang. Then pull up using the up arrow then add the jump (Alt) key to land back on the roof.

Pick up the Cathedral Key (which gets used in the All Hollows Secret level at the end of the game) Secret 4. To get out of this space, walk to the back of the space and then perform two back-flips. You will end up back on the low roof. Drop onto the block and then go out to the left.

Go down on the roof to your left. At the end is a barbed wire filled area with some Desert Eagle clips. You can safety-drop on the right and walk through using the walk button. Climb back up the roof back onto the ledge around the bell tower.

Go around to the far corner and safety-drop off the corner next to the railings. Climb down the ladder. Safety-drop twice more to reach a ledge with a small space you can crawl into with a large medi pack Secret 5.

Climb back up to the railings and turn left. There is a break in the railings halfway along. Go through the gap to end the level.

When you start the next level have the action (Ctrl) key pressed.
