Wow! Another 6 months has flown by. I was tempted to take this site down because I haven't had the time to put into it and it has cost a lot to keep it running. This is partly due to the number of hits it still gets despite the fact I haven't completed it yet :-)
I have started the UTR3 Game Store so have a look and if you buy anything I will get a little in return. If I get enough I will try and find time to finish the missing levels.

How time flies when you're working hard and having problems with your server access and stats. This site is still getting in excess of 18,000 visits a month and I have been unable to get anywhere near to updating it. Last week I did 80+ hours on a commercial site that I'm working on.
If there are any people out there who would like a hand in this site and it's development please contact me with ideas you have for developing the site and samples of walk throughs you have done. This site and it's walk throughs have received much praise for being straight forward and fast. Anyone wishing to be part of this needs to maintain that philosophy. An understanding of perl would be a distinct advantage.
So far this year UTR3 has received over 360,000 visits. I have already got the www.unofficialtombraider4.com address (and I'm not afraid to use it!!). So Whoever comes on board can use this as a showcase to go onto better things - I have :-) So lets see what you have got....
By the way, my 6 month old daughter, Danielle is doing great!

I think I'm beginning to get on top of the demands of my new Webmastering job.
It's been really interesting but along with the needs of my 15 week old daughter
I have been kept very busy.
I fired up and did a dry run of the end of Aldwych. The trickiest bit is the
way the Ornate Star only works when you are right in front of the door - not
in front of the lock. You've got to hand it to Eidos complacency is not your
friend :-) !! I've also taken a quick peek at the South Pacific area so start
watching for some updates!

Is it really July already? So much has happened in the last couple of months that all I can do is apologise to everyone who has emailed me about the site. Danielle, our daughter, was born on May 5th - she's beautiful, healthy and sleeps at night! I'm still exhausted so goodness knows how I would manage if there had been problems :-). Partly as a result of this site I now have a new job managing a large corporate website. So combined with my need to get my own business off the ground and my new daughter I haven't had much time of late..... I was even approached by another large Tomb Raider site, to see if I wanted to contribute, but I haven't heard anything more on that front.

Well I did get a bit more of the level completed in between trips to the maternity ward to see if it was time for our baby to come...... still waiting!! I've worked out the layout for the map around the tunnels and will hopefully have it ready over the weekend along with the end of this level :-)

Thanks to everyone who wrote to me about the problems I have hadover the last couple of months. Things appear to be sorting themselves out now - although we're stil awaiting the arrival of our baby. I've made a start on Aldwych and hope to have it finished by the end of the week - artwork allowing.

Ummmmm........... Hello?
Sorry I haven't been updating the site but I have been caught up with other things. The most major thing being my sister (Sally-Ann) died suddenly on the 5th of March. She is dearly missed. The day that she died I had started to do a major hardware upgrade to change my Pentium Pro 200 to a Pentium II 350. This suffered several setbacks due to hardware and driver conflicts. Sixty hours later I am waiting for a replacement scanner which will signify the completion of a vastly improved system. I have also had to present my first set of business accounts for the tax man which are being checked by the accountant tomorrow. I am also at a very difficult stage of developing a commercial site. My wife is pregnant and due between now and the end of April............. Oh and of course there's the day job. So all in all things have been just a little hectic!
Thanks to everyone for the continued support and email's enquiring if all was well.

I have now finished the Thames Wharf level. The highlight of this was a good shortcut with all secrets available. I have also been told about a major shortcut in the Jungle section details to follow - unfortunately this doesn't get all the secrets. Thanks to Chris Marsden for that.

I've made a start in Area 51. This seems to be quite a fun area with more interaction with the baddies and satisfying use of the new weapons. Butler Buzz now 664 YES and 53 NO.

As promised the High Security Level is completed and I was hoping to make a start on Area 51 - not today :-) I just took some time out to watch the new X-Files movie. I have to give this a definite "Thumbs up!" but....... The story seemed a little familiar. There were major scenes in the Desert, in London and Antarctica. There were also killer bees. I wonder who had the storyline first. The textures around the walls in High Security Compound are the front panels of stereos! Just a little food for thought.........

The Butler Buzz is still cooking. 558 want a more active roll, while only 48 want him to stay as he is. I'll try and post some of your comments about the butler and about the site in general.

Caves of Kaliya completed along with some great graphics - Well I like them :-) The Moves section is a little more involved than I anticipated so watch this space.

I think there is a way to join both the right and left and trails after the fork I'm just working on it. I think it's too complex a trail on the left to be an incomplete shortcut. Butler Buzz 518 YES, 46 NO.

I have all but finished this area including a save gem hidden somewhere in the tunnel where you run past a guard to kill a frogman. I haven't seen this described anywhere else. I will have it finished tomorrow but I have got to work tonight. I'm a nurse if anyone is interested :-)

Over the last few days I have been negotiating with a company hoping to run a competition to meet Nell the real life double for Lara Croft. Unfortunately it has been decided at this stage that the project is not viable, so they have backed down. This is unfortunate in that I have wasted a couple of days trying to identify the problem areas with them - apart from the fact that I am still currently without a sponsor.
I will try and complete the Lud's Gate Level by the end of tomorrow.

I have been negotiating with a spnsor over the last couple of days which has prevented me from getting much further. This is related to a competition where you could win a chance to meet Nell - the Lara Croft look-alike.
I have managed to do a fair chunk of the Lud's Gate level now.

Started Lud's Gate section. Posted high dive with full somersault. I've been told that the Official name of the Butler is Winston. I've also been told that there is a cheat on the Quad bike track that enables you to get times of ten seconds. Thanks to The Croft Times for this info.

Finished the Temple Ruins Walk Thru'. Got some excellent screenshots........... see the giant snake from the third secret! I've had about 2 1/2hours sleep in the last 36 - dedicated or stupid? :-) New addition to the COOL MOVES section with a possible flying code yet to be tested..... watch this space. High Security Area Walk Thru' next.

More of the Temple Ruins and screenshots posted. Fixed the hypertext link colours so that the site looks better especially in Netscape 3.x. BUTLER BUZZ continues to draw attention 148 to 16 for developing the Butler's role - keep those votes coming. I've got the best part of a day on this tomorrow so hopefully will complete Temple Ruins and all screenshots for the Walk Thru's so far.

Rearranged the frames a little - I hope you like it! Added the BUTLER BUZZ have a look and take a vote. Discovered some links not working in Lara's Mansion Walk Thru'......... I'm sure I corrected that once. Anyway, it's corrected now :-)

I've been taking lots of screenshots in the Nevada Desert. I have extended the Walk thru' for the Nevada Desert too. I will try to post the screenshots I have done over the next two days. I have been sent some interesting cheats that I have so far not yet managed to use but please keep sending them in.

I have made a start on the Nevada Desert section to please those of you who are steaming ahead. I hoped to have all the screenshots for the Jungle and Lara's Mansion but it is a time consuming process. I will keep plugging away but I am constantly replaying the game as I go to make sure I have everything.
Two more special moves. Skidding to a halt after a sprint, and a back twisting somersault.
Thanks to all the PlayStation experts. I will try and sort the codes out on separate pages to make it all clearer. Thanks also to everyone who has offered me walkthroughs and HTML coding advice - it's all welcome and I will review it when I have time and try and reply to everyone. (This may take a while but I intend to answer them all eventually.)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Work is still
progressing. I lost half of the screenshots I made when they were overwritten. I have got
them again but in the process I have discovered one more item in Lara's Mansion and two
more items in the Jungle section.
I have also discovered that you can jump up to the roof from the ground in Lara's Mansion
in order to get into the Racetrack. This will definitely be posted tomorrow night with
screenshots.
This is a very time intensive process and each section generates around 100 screenshots. I hope to have the Temple Ruins walk through and all the screenshots for Lara's Home and the Jungle up in the next two days.

I've just redone the navigation using Custom Style Sheets. I apologise for the delay but I was getting bogged down with producing new buttons and this will speed up the process. I am hopefully going to have the whole of Lara's Home and the Jungle section up by tomorrow. A question for you. What about the poor old butler? Do you think he should have a more active role? What should he be called apart from a bumbling, brew-bearing, bottom-burping batman?

THANK YOU! to the 3,000 or so people who have hit this site in the last few days. I have not stopped work on the site but I am working 12-hour night shifts until tomorrow night. I will be putting about 40 hours work into the site between then and the new year so expect to see some major content appearing. Keep sending in the cheats! A popular question is if it is possible to save your position in Lara's Home at the beginning - anyone know of a way? I have been sent a Playstation cheat to get the key for the buggy course but if anyone knows the PC cheat for this please send it in. Every one I use will get a credit for their cheat. Someone also thought that there where 2 extra secrets in the Jungle section - can anyone confirm this and say how to get to them? I will add a new section to post the email I am sent so people can get information direct from there. If you have any particular problems please continue to send in your questions but please try and be specific. I will do my best to answer all email personally but if this becomes too much I will post to let you know.

Hello there,
I'm trying to write this site between other commitments. I am actually playing the game to get the unique screenshots that you will see.
So far I have started the Jungle area of the India section and you can see the first three secrets.
Screenshots are displayed in this window by clicking on the links in the right hand window. Some zoomed images are available where you see a * next to the link. If you click on the main image a zoomed image should appear in another window.
The cheat section is up but if you know of any others let me know and I'll post them with a credit - If I can get them to work! Check this section first to see if I have progressed any further.
If you click on the "email a
friend" button you will be able to tell your friends about the site even if you don't
have email! For the moment it will create an email using your default email programme.
